  1. I discovered this podcast by accident. I’m very antique, and don’t do much electronic burrowing. However, a friend gave me his Alexa, and I repeatedly asked it to “play history podcast”. 80% of the offerings seem to be about the U.S./C.S. civil war or the Second World War. But the occasional better-quality thing emerges, and what a gem History of the Twentieth century is. I think its the best podcast I’ve found, with narration that speaks of meticulous reserch, and – vitally – no gushing adolescent chat, and the accent isn’t that jarring to the British Ear. Well done! And keep going into the 21st Century (or, if I may, as you’d say; “the twenny-first century [sic.]).
