Fascism in power is not so much an ideological force as it is a fascist leader, who rules pragmatically. One might say instinctively. At home, fascists celebrate the glories of “our” people; abroad, they fight wars.

    I love your podcast and particularly the 3 episode series on Fascism. Very enlightening. I wonder if todays’ Republican party is a fascist party in your opinion.

    • I dislike commenting on current affairs because it makes people angry, but an honest question deserves an honest answer. Yes, I believe it is.
