Hi Mark love the podcast! I listened to this episode around a year ago, and a quote in it had been rattling around my head ever since:
One of the African-American soldiers responded, “We’re here to take up the white man’s burden.”
I’m struggling to find a source for this quote, and I’d like to read more. Any idea where you found that?
